More Emmy Loves

So I'm giving in and I'd like to share some more "Love it" from the Emmy's!

Claire Danes sparkled in Giorgio Armani Prive.

Kelly Osbourne wearing Tony Ward Couture accented with Martin Katz jewels.

Kim Kardashian wearing Marchesa decked in Lorraine Schwartz.

Susan Sarandon and her daughter Eva Amurri both looked timeless. Sarandon wore a Donna Karen gown with Ippolita earrings. Amurri wore Thierry Mugler with Jimmy Choo shoes and Cartier jewelry.

Room Ideas!

So, this past Saturday I moved all of my furniture to Nashville! Yay! All I'm going to need is a desk, a nightstand oh.. and bedding! I've been browsing through all my favorite design blogs and saving some things into my "Nashvegas bedroom ideas" folder. I don't take credit for any of the photos though, FYI. I want a fun, grown-up, girly and sophisticated look! hehe. Let me know what you think of some the things I found!

I really like these pillows! Everything in my room is pretty much white and I think something similar would add great color!

I love this color combo! I can't paint my walls but I love the shades together! I'm thinking a white bedspread/matelasse with colorful pillows, corresponding bed skirt and possibly some curtains. I love this nightstand too!

I love this desk and chair! This is the look I'm going for. Because everything in my room is mainly white, maybe I could paint the desk a fun color. Love the coral color too.

I could go very simple and chic if I wanted.

I'm loving the grey tones because they are a different twist to neutrals. I like all the different pillows also.

I love this color combo! A lot. It's fun but still grown-up.

Love this color combo also! Navy, coral, white and tan. My headboard is a pewter color, and I think those colors would still look good.

Love everything about this! Fab.

Here is that orange/coral, blue/grey and white combo again. There is something really different and fresh about it and I like it.

I love the mixed patterns and textures!

Love the yellow and grey. Love love love the curtains!

Emmy Fashion: Love it, Like it, Leave it

Award season is here and you know what that means: glamour! Scrumptious jewels, dapper suits/tuxedos and fabulous dresses worn by award-winning hopefuls. Tonight's Emmy red carpet was flowing with some amazzzing gowns and menswear. Here are my picks:

Love It

January Jones, of Mad Men, wearing a Atelier Versace gown accented with Cartier diamonds. This is probably my favorite dress from tonight. Hands down. It's adventurous, glamorous and I adore the color. The detailed bust is very flattering and shows of January's lovely shoulders. The shorter hem in the front shows of her legs. The black platform pumps add balance. A+

Dexter actress Jennifer Carpenter in a very glam one-shouldered sequined gown. Love this! The color is subtle and looks great with the shine. Jennifer's hair, make-up and bling were very simple which was a good call. She really knows how to wear that dress! A

Glee songstress, Lea Michele in Oscar de la Renta with Lorraine Schwartz bling. RUFFLES! The sweetheart neck balances out the flouncy, ruffled bottom. Love the color. Think the hair could have been more polished. The jewels look great and add the right amount of extra glamour. A-

Like It

Glee actress, Jessalyn Gilsig looks vibrant in this red Nicole Miller dress, paired with Chopard jewels. I love her hair the best so far, very polished. Red looks great on her. Solid choice! B+

Vampire Diaries actress Nina Dobrev wearing Zuhair Murad with Chopard diamonds. Love the jewels, they accent the dress nicely. The color of the dress complements her skin tone, she's glowing! Love the style on her, not crazy about the material. It would also look good in a brighter color. Over all: B

Modern Family star, Julie Bowen wore a J. Mendel gown and Neil Lane jewelry. I just wasn't a fan of this dress. Maybe it's the dress on her...but I just think she could have done better. A dress with a color that pops would be an option. While I like the form silhouette, the top just doesn't flatter. Hair looks okay. At least she looks happy :-). Maybe next time. B-

Leave It

Glee star, Dianna Argon wearing Carolina Herrera and Cartier bling. I just think the lace overlay is way too much. The silohuette looks good on her, it just needs to be a solid color maybe with a contrasting color for the sash. Ole South gone bad. Not my fav. Sorry girlfrand. C+

True Blood actress, Rutina Wesley. Love the shoes, love the hair, love the make-up, don't love the dress. AT ALL. It's way to busy. C

Toni Collette in a dress by "watercolor gone wrong." Like what was she thinking......really? Not much to say about this except: C-

On to the men

Mad Men leading man, Jon Hamm looks perfect in his tux. Favorite dressed male! A+

Glee star, Mark Salling looking handsome in all black ;-) B

John Krasinski, looking dapper in Prada, with his wife Emily Blunt, looking lovely in lavender. Love that they match! Wish his bow tie showed up better. C

Fall is....

So I'm really in the mood for fall...if you can't tell. Check out the fab fall collection of Malene Birger. I found these lovely photos at Dainty and Floral. Check it out:

Right around the corner...

I love fall! It's one of my favorite seasons...well I kind of love all seasons, I'm just really excited for fall :-)! Fall makes me think of football (THE GROVE), new fun fashion and new beginnings. This fall will be quite different for me because I'm done with school and new exciting opportunities are waiting for me in Nashville and I couldn't be more excited. However, everything is a little bittersweet for me right now. I'm not going back to school for the first time since pre-school....that seems a little strange doesn't it? Everything is changing right now and it's a little weird but I'm excited.

So because I am excited about these new fun things ahead....lets talk fall fashion. I'm excited for all the dark colors, the textures and new trends.
This, my friends, is at the top of my "fall fashion wants" list.
I love love the color because it's different and I think it could
unexpectedly make just about any outfit cuter, even if it doesn't match
the color scheme!
Loving this Tory bag! It's great for going out and it looks cute too.
Added bonus...take the chain strap off for a chic clutch. Two-in-one!

Loving the Botkier 'Ava' bag.
It's a great color and could dress up any out fit,
or make you feel like a rockstar!

These RED LIPS! So chic and classic,
and with the right shade, looks great on everyone.

The new OPI Swiss Collection. So many great colors.
Can't wait to try them all on!

I love everything about this JCrew ensemble. It screams fall to me.
I think that cute little MJ bag would look awesome with this!

Fun fall fashion

Got a little crafty on Polyvore!

The Ultimate Wish List

So if you know me pretty well, you probably know I love a good online wish list. It's the best way to remember anything you had your eye on at one site. While I love keeping up with and updating my wish lists quite often, it can be a hassle to have to keep up more than one. Well lucky for us avid online shoppers, that problemo has been solved.

Enter: Right Clicq by Visa. How it works: Just sign up, it's free and you are good to get started. You will have to restart your computer to let the download complete, because it puts a button on your toolbar. It's pretty easy to do!

Let's say you were playing around on Shop Bop and found this awesome Marc Jacobs bag, all you do is click the Rightcliq button on your toolbar...click add item to wish space....roll you mouse of the pick of the item and click. It adds the pic, the item Brand and price to your wish space all with one click. Then you move along to Saks and find an awesome cocktail dress...just click and add. The best part....you can mix and match all websites, and you end up with one master wish list.

Try it out. It's the bomb.
