Sweet Summertime

So I'm at the beach for the summer...and I love it already. More to come soon! I can't think of any place I'd rather be.

Fab Nails

If you're like me, as soon you get out of the nail salon, you either knock something and mess the paint up, or they start chippingthe next day. Well, lucky for us, that problem has been solved by OPI. They have developed a gel that can be soaked off and it lasts for two weeks. I tried it and it works! As soon as I left the salon, I could do anything, smudge free! They have tons of the most popular OPI colors and it's totally worth it! Go try it!

SATC2 Wardrobe...WOW

So, I was watching E! the other night and was informed that the SATC2 wardrobe cost around $10 million dollars. Pretty crazy! However, I wouldn't expect anything less! Here are a few of the amazing outfits from the movie. From Halston Heritage, to Christian Louboutin and Zac Posen the clothes won't disappoint, and I hope I can say the same thing about the film!

Smiling.

"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened."

That quote is sooooo cliche, I know, but that's how I've been thinking lately. A lot has happened to me in one weekend. I graduated from college and I had to leave the sweetest girls I will ever know. Now, normally in a situation like this I would be the one who can't stop sobbing and not able to get myself together. However, I surprised myself this weekend. Now don't get me wrong, I cried and I was sad to have so many things change all at once, but after I said my goodbyes and moved all my things out of the Chi O house, I stopped crying and started smiling. So many happy things have happened in four years and all I could do was smile. And I still am.

I smile because I met the greatest, most fabulous group of friends that anyone could ask for. We have laughed and cried together and bonded over everything we have in common. They have a special place in my heart for always. We have so many things left to celebrate and smile about.

I smile because I have a family that is proud of me and makes me happy.

I smile because in college, I have learned a lot about myself and what I am capable of.

I smile because there are so many things ahead of me and I'm excited.

I smile because I have had an UNBELIEVABLE college experience, one worth bragging about.

I smile because I have a lot to look forward to in life and so much to be thankful for.

To die for.

If I died and came back as one thing...it would be Jennifer Lopez's dress at this year's Met Gala.
Talk. About. Fabulous.
I think she's really outdone herself with this one.
Loves it.

Other top notch gals at the gala!

Saturday, May 1, 2010

Well, it's a rainy Saturday here in North Mississippi. That makes today the perfect day to not really do much. So blogging it is.
If you didn't see my post about Cynthia Vincent having a fabulous shoe line at Target...here it is.
Well, I was so excited leading up to the release of the collection that I stayed up until midnight to do a little late-night purchasing, I wanted the shoes THAT bad. Well I got tired and fell asleep and much to my dismay the two pairs I wanted were sold out online. It was a very sad day for me.
Well, my sweet mom found one of the pairs I wanted at a Target back home and totally changed the situation. They were worth the wait and after dancing in the rain in them last night at Club Love, I hope they are still OK. At least I saved $320.

Cynthia Vincent at Shop Bop...$350

Cynthia Vincent for Target...$30...SCORE

Now that I am so satisfied with these lovely shoes...I have found another bargin look-a-like pair. Next on to Miu Miu and Steve Madden. I loooove these shoes. I think that shoes are starting to become my new obsession. How fab are these puppies! I die.
Miu Miu suede and wooden clogs found at Net-A-Porter....$495

Steve Madden clog...$149.95
Not a steal like The Cynthia Vincent sedges but absolutely better than $500.
